I am Fehintoluwa Olowoyeye and my Hadassah Myrtle BP story came to be as a result of my hair journey.​

I grew up with a head full of healthy afro hair I was proud of and had no worries of how to get it done. But this changed when I got to boarding school. In my first year I struggled to get my hair neatly done as my full head of healthy yet, stubborn hair, was intimidating to many and proved challenging to those who attempted to help. So I ended up cutting off my hair for a while. I started growing back my hair in my senior years of secondary school, which was much better and well handled. 

 

Oh! Did I forget to mention that I wasn't allowed to relax my hair at home till I finished Secondary school. I bet you can imagine my excitement when I graduated from Secondary school and rushed to the salon to get my hair relaxed.  But my excitement was short lived cos of the burns sustained every time I retouched. Asides the burns, the heat from the hair dryer wasn't what I enjoyed.  So the decision to go natural was easy for me.

 

Fast forward to getting married and having children, I made up my mind I didn't want my children especially my daughter, to ever struggle with the type of hair texture I had growing up, or getting stressed out not knowing what to do with her hair or using damaging chemicals on her hair. Which was how and why Hadassah Myrtle Beauty Products was birthed, with the help of God.
